Praise Him with Trumpets - Global Release 30 January 2025!

We are very excited to announce the release of our new CD 'Praise Him with Trumpets'  made with Delphian Records. Conducted by our dynamic Musical Director Hilary Campbell it celebrates British music ranging from Britten through to Holst and Vaughan Williams.

We are particularly proud to premiere three compositions: Dame Judith Weir's Praise Him with Trumpets', Grace-Evangeline Mason's 'A Memory of the Ocean' for choir, piano and cello, a Royal Philharmonic Society commission whose first performance the choir gave in summer 2023, and an exciting recent rediscovery - Elizabeth Poston's 'Festal Te Deum.'

To complement the larger choral pieces, soprano Charlotte Mobbs and pianist and the choir's Ass Musical Director Steven Kings bring to life vivid Shakespeare settings by Vaughan Williams, Elizabeth Maconochy and Ceclia McDowall.
