Description:	Join Bristol Choral Society to celebrate the release of their second professional recording with Delphian Records - Praise Him with Trumpets. The CD is a celebration of British Choral Music ranging from Britten to Vaughan Williams via Holst. We are also delighted to feature three Premiere recordings: Vice President of BCS, Dame Judith Weir's Praise Him with Trumpets, Grace-Evangeline Mason's A Memory of the Ocean for choir, piano and cello, and an exciting rediscovery - Elizabeth Poston's Festal Te Deum. To complement the larger choral pieces, soprano soloist Charlotte Mobbs and Assistant Musical Director, pianist Steven Kings bring to life vivid Shakespeare settings by Vaughan Williams, Elizabeth Maconochy and Cecilia McDowall. During the event you will have the opportunity to hear the choir, joined by Organist Richard Moore and Trumpet Jo Harris perform excepts from the CD and hear from our Musical Director Hilary Campbell and distingushed guest Dame Judith Weir, as well as enjoy a glass of fizz!
